I'm currently a junior at The University of Alabama at Huntsville, majoring in nursing with an emphasis on pediatrics. I recently moved here in order to attend the nursing program and I am looking for a great family to spend my summer babysitting. I spent a few summers working as a recreational aide, supervising groups of around 20 children at a community center in New Mexico and I absolutely loved it and the experienced that I gained. I have received first aid & babysitter training from American Red Cross and I was previously CPR certified, but have not re-certificated, however I would be willing to do so. I've been babysitting since I was 12 and it has been a great experience for me. I love being able to help and form bonds with the kids and family. I love arts & crafts, music, dance, and outdoor sports & activities. I Read more also believe that reading is an important part of a child's development and would love to include reading in the daily tasks. I also can do simple household chores including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, etc and I can do basic meal preparation.
