Hi! I have been a childcare provider for 11 years at Mother Goose daycare center in Dothan, AL. I am CPR and first aid certified. I also have obtained many training hours over the past 11 years. I attended some college after completing high school towards a degree in elementary education. I graduated high school in the honor court; Along with completing honors classes through my high school years. I did not complete my college degree. Instead after 2 years of college I decided to work full time at the daycare I have worked the past 11 years. Even though I may not meet your degree requirements, I ask for your consideration. I am detail oriented. I like being organized, prepared, and I 100% believe that keeping a daily schedule is important for early childhood development. I LOVE caring for, and teaching children. On a more personal note. I have Read more been married for 5 years. My husband and I have been together a total of 8 and a half years. We do not have any children of our own yet. Although, we do see children in our future. I have cared for many children over the years ages ranging from 12 months old to 12 years old. Outside of the daycare I also have been a sitter for parents whom had children enrolled at the center. I sat for them nights, weekends, and even over night on occasion when they needed a weekend sitter for them to go out of town. I have cared for children in both their homes and my own. Although, I prefer to provide care in the child's home rather than my own. Just for the simple fact in the child's home they have everything they could possibly want to play with.
