I have been working with children since I was 12 years of age. At that time, I got certified by Red Cross as a babysitter and also completed CPR training. I have taken care of children from the ages of newborn to 11 years old. I directed a day care as part of my graduate field placement. I have worked in a preschool held three days a week at my high school which required me and other participants in the class to teach once or twice a week. I also had an internship at the Child Abuse Prevention Services of West Alabama and worked with children in middle school. In just for years I attained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in psychology. This educational background gives me a great understanding of people, especially children, considering I have taken both adolescent and youth psychology courses.
