*The child in my picture is on of the babies that I nannied. Her photo has been approved by her parents to use on this website. I've always said that childcare chose me. From the very first time I changed my baby cousin's diaper when I was 5-years-old to family members, family friends, and neighbors dropping their kids off with me on date nights, game days, etc. Always being known for my reliability, dependability, and responsibility has its perks, but in union with my love of children, tenderness, and my perpetual plot of patience, taking care of children has become the perk itself. The simplicity of wanting to learn and the desire for happiness in the small things is what draws me, I've always been very traditional and old fashioned. my experience is as described below: 3 children for a summer (live-in) - accompanied the family on all vacations and Read more trips, preparing the children's bags, making sure they were bathed, dressed, safe, fed, and happy. This is the job where I learned that the best way to get a child to sleep is to tire them out throughout the day; after a warm bath, they're dead on their feet. 1 Autistic Child (4-years-old) - In this job, I was more of a Mommy's helper. Made sure he was bathed, dressed, fed, and safe. Assisted in calming routines for any tantrums or episodes. This is the job I learned that the best way to prolong the longevity of my patience is to love the child. There is no conditions with love. 1 infant for 7 months - premature baby girl that I nannied while the mother worked and traveled. I am still in touch with this family, that was my baby. I never loved anyone as much as I loved her. I am Nationally Ceryified as an EMT and i and leaving the Army after serving my duty, so drugs are no issue, I am dedicated, and proficient in saftey and in my work. I'm best with children under 12, infants and toddlers are my expertise, but no age is restricted.
