I have been babysitting since the age of 13. I first started by watching the neighbors who were 3, 5, and 7. I have since then babysat for all ages ranging from newborn to sixteen. At age 15 I began volunteering at a children's daycare, specifically in a classroom of two and three year olds. This past summer I worked as a full time summer nanny for a newborn and three year old. Just recently I volunteered several hours at the RISE daycare center on the University of Alabama campus, specifically in the five year old classroom. I have a deep love for working with children and hope to one day be able to open my own daycare.
