I have babysat for the past 12 years on and off for various families. I have many references to provide. I have also worked with special needs children for the past 2+ years at a pediactrics facility. I have been exposed to a wide range of special needs including down-syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy etc. Along with medical needs such as feeding tubes, trachs, etc. I also have been exposed to speech, occupational, and physical therapy. I help them achieve their goals by implementing specific activities which target the particular skills to help each student reach their goals. Children are a huge passion of mine, and I hope to continue to work with them after I finish school.
