I'm Laura and am 28 years old. I love kids and have a bachelor's degree in Childhood Education!   I've worked with children all my life.  I've started since I was 14 years old.  I have a lot of experience with all ages from infants to teens. I currently obtain a background check, CPR/First Aid certifications, references, certificates in bloodborne pathogens, child abuse prevention, sids, etc.   I've nannied 5 kids at a time, during that time, I did light house work, cooked for the kids, helped with homework and put the children to bed;  2 were infants(twins), 1 early school aged boy, and 2 pre-teens.   I also nannied with a family who had a 3 month old and 18month old. I also have worked as an assistant director at a daycare center, and also worked in the 18month old- kindergarten classroom as well. I've also worked with a family of three children, Read more one with ADHD and I've helped with homework, light house cleaning, running errands (when needed) and cooking. I've also worked with a family who at the time had a 4 month old baby boy. I helped him reach his milestones, fed him milk on schedules, put him down for a nap, played with him to reach his milestone goals while also having fun. We read lots of books too. We also went for lots of walks to know the outdoors (grass, leaves, etc), and also brought him to the park and library to socialize with children! I’ve worked at a daycare center and have worked in all rooms from the infant room through Pre-K. I’ve helped my director with work around the school and also cooked and cleaned up lunch for the whole school when needed. I love to cook, clean and do fun things such as painting, coloring, playing games, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, etc. I believe I will be the perfect fit to your family.
