Ive decided to come back to Sittercity because I have worked with them 2 1/2 years ago, a week after I got out of high school and I LOVED IT then. Ive worked multiple jobs since after leaving but now I am going to Pima college full-time and I would just love to do something with my free time to make me happy. Plus I could use some money for school lunches and gas :D. During the summers I have been volunteering as a counselor at Camp Sunrise where I spend a week with a cabin full of campers ages 6-15 and at the American Cancer Society day camp working with children ages 4-6. This next summer will be my 4th year so far as a counselor. I seem to always fall back into jobs or the ACS organizations that deal with kids because I enjoy it so much! I’ve Read more grown such a love for children and my compassionate nature and friendly personality makes me get along with them in no time. I enjoy developing kids emotionally, socially and physically, which is the main reason why I want this opprutunity. It’s fun to manage and grow-up with children and I feel I have strong characteristics for just that. Random and fun facts about me: I have no kids but I do have my own fur baby. (: (As far as all my family pets) my boyfriend and I care for her. We take her pretty much everywhere. I love her a lot! I spend a lot of my free time sewing and knitting clothing. Sounds like an old lady thing to do but I make a lot of my own clothes so I never struggle finding things to fit me. I live in a three story house with 10 ppl on a 4 acre land I am very family oriented. I have 3 younger siblings 3, 9, and 15 whom I also babysit time to time. I currently take Spanish classes so I can learn a new language wich will help me with a growing family (my significant other is Hispanic) and a career later on. I want to eventually move to Thailand when I’m older to pursue my dream in working with exotic animals like elaphants or lions. Also, for pet sitting I have been working at Petsmart for 1 year in the pet care department before I started to take some time off from working so I can focus on school. I am currently attending Pima Medical Institute to become a Veterinary Technician specialized in emergency. I have a strong love for animals as I have owned many pets all my life. I live on a farm currently so I have chickens, a goat, hedgehog, 5 dogs, 6 cats, and lots of others. I feel I am a strong candidate for any pet related sitting because I have plenty of experience working with animals.
