Mom of seven, ages 17 to 2 years old. My husband is a writer and works from home, and I've been a stay-at-home/work-from-home mom for seven years. I have two degrees in Accounting and Gemology, but am finding it hard to get back into the corporate world after so much time away, so I'm looking to nanny. I'm a happy person, I LOVE babies and little ones, and I create a positive environment that brings learning into every day activities. Small things like separating toys by color, or counting things on pages of books, helps kids learn without knowing they are learning. I'm experienced caring for sick children, administering medications if necessary and I've had a child with asthma and a child that required multiple surgeries, so I feel comfortable caring for sick children under many circumstances. I think remaining calm and cheerful helps put little ones at ease. They Read more sense stress and a calm person helps them feel safe when they're feeling their worst. When I worked out of the home, I actually employed a nanny myself, so I know what you are looking for. You want to come home to a clean house, toys organized, and maybe a little meal prep. You want to come home and be able to spend time with your kids and enjoy them. I can provide that for you. I prefer to work daytime hours, but could be flexible. My husband works from home, so I will not have issues with not being available if my own kids are sick or home from school. I am a reliable person with my own transportation. I reside in Goodyear, but my oldest children go to school downtown Phoenix and we drive that way every day, so I am flexible to work in the West Valley, or downtown.
