Hello, my name is Sophia Fernandez and I am a 29 years old. I have been a nanny/ babysitter since I was 16 and am currently a care provider at a daycare in Scottsdale. I have worked with children ranging from newborn to 13 years old. I try to provide activities when I come whether it is art, snack/meal prep, playing outside, reading or homework, parking in front of the TV is not the way I grew up so unless a parent prefers it, I tend not to provide care in that manner. I have been a certified caregiver since 2010 and have provided a lot of care focused on behavioral health but also disabilities and cognitive impairment. I am a Nursing Student and am taking some time off but have thus far met the standards for a CNA and LPN having completed block 2 of the program. I am Read more waiting for advanced placement into block 3 so I have time off for now. I am CPR and first aid certified and have my Fingerprint Clearance Card which is a background check through AZ which was just completed over the summer.
