I Just graduated and received a bachelor's degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Hebrew and a minor in Modern Hebrew from Brigham Young University. I speak, read, and understand Modern Hebrew at level Vav(fluent). I have around two years experience as a Modern Hebrew Tutor and had the chance to teach a university level Biblical Hebrew course last summer. I also was in change of and lived in a total immersion language apartment for a year where I oversaw and helped residents develop and perfect their ability to speak fluent and conversant Modern Hebrew. I had the incredible opportunity to participate in an intensive Hebrew language program at BYU-Jerusalem where I took classes about Hebrew, Judaism, and Israeli History completely in Hebrew. I have also worked for a professor as a Modern Hebrew Translator in order to assist him in his academic research. Learning how Read more to become fluent in Hebrew has helped me, more fully, understand how my native language of English works and how I can assist others in improving their ability to speak it. I come from a large family with 5 siblings and have had extensive experience working and caring for children my whole life. I have 11 nieces and nephews for whom I tend and baby-sit often. I started tutoring young kids in different school subjects when I was 11 years old and have continued doing so in various forms up until today. I also have experience teaching pre-school and elementary age children classes on religion. One of my favorite jobs that I have ever had was working as the driver/conductor of a miniature children's train at the mall. I gained invaluable experience at this job on how to keep multiple children happy, safe, and entertained. During college I also had the opportunity to volunteer with the 4-H after school program and helped kids learn how to play volleyball.
