I have many years of experience working with children of all ages, including physically handicap children. My younger sister has acondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism as a result of her condition she has had countless number of surgeries. I have helped with her aftercare including: cleaning wounds, changing bandages, personal care and even physical therapy. In high school I provided after school care for an immigrant child. I picked her up from school, made homemade lunches and assisted her with homework especially improving her English proficiency. As a result of my tutoring she is fluent in English and an honor roll student. While attending college I worked at Tutor Time as an assistant teacher. I am CPR trained and certified. I am fluent in Polish and understand some conversational Spanish.
