Hi, I’m Melissa Williams I am college graduate with a BA in Elementary Education (k-8) from Grand Canyon University (2017). I am currently working on my MA in Early Education and Special Education. I am a San Diego native, however am now a new resident in the SEA-TAC area due to my husbands work. I am the oldest of five wonderful brothers and sisters(ages 6-17). I was ASB president of my High school, graduated with honors, and was a quad sport athlete, as well as a coach while working at Journeys and babysitting throughout high school. I have always been a hard worker; I enjoy feeling accomplished when it comes to school and work. Working with kids has always been something that comes natural to me. In the past I have babysat, tutored (math, science, English, and Spanish 1), coached soccer (ages groups u12 and special needs) and I was Read more a nanny this past summer. I have a total of fifteen years working with kids (5 years watching children not related to me). I’m great at my job because I love it. I always have fun working with the youth and being able to help teach them something new whether it is something creative, athletic, or educational. If you would like to know more about me, this is me in a nutshell; I am a Twenty Two-year-old enthusiastic, optimistic college graduate who has just relocated to Washington. I come from a large family and value and respect my elders, my nana always told me “kids are the future”, therefore I find it very important to take a babysitting/ nanny job seriously. Molding a child’s mind is crucial and should not be taken lightly because they learn from their environment and those surrounding them. Working with kids is my passion whether it is helping them with school, coaching, or even just cooking a home cooked meal.
