I am completely new at the moment to caregiving! Although I have never worked with anyone else's children I believe you've got to start somewhere and after seeing my friend be a successful nanny for so long I decided I would like to try it as well. Often I would tag along with her and help out with taking care of the kids and taking them to and from school etc etc but I think the bulk of my experience would come from me having to watch my younger cousins growing up while my Aunt would be away. Growing up in a family as large as mine it was common to always having to be looking after someone when our parents weren't around due to whatever circumstances at the time.
