I've been nannying in addition to my volunteer work at Child Crisis Arizona. Although I don't have professional babysitting experience (other than my recent nannying through this site) since I was a teenager and that was almost 30 years ago, I do have several years of professional experience as a licensed professional counselor. I'm Masters educated, I'm understanding, fun, and I love working with kids! I'm at a stage of my professional career where I'm looking to enjoy life and do what makes me happy! Although my license remains unrestricted and active, I've just opted to leave clinical practice to pursue a couple of independent longer-term projects. In the meantime, I'd like to keep myself busy and doing something fun! Working with kids seems like a great way to do that! Prior to obtaining my Masters, I was a volunteer with Foster Angels of Arizona as a tutor/mentor and I love helping kids with homework and seeing the "light go on." This was an incredible experience. I'm an animal lover, so you have them, that's great too! I hold a Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card, and I'm First Aid and CPR certified through April 2017.
