Hi my name is Alecia and I am a very proud mother of two adorable boys. My oldest is 9 years old while my youngest is 11 weeks old! I grew up in a family of 3 brothers and 1 sister and my mother has done in home day care since I was 10! I guess I always knew that I wanted to follow in her steps! When the children are in my care we like to have a blast with arts and crafts, focusing on educational activities, and physical activities as well. I perform a variety of activities for children such as songs, games and story telling. I provide playing equipment and toys to kids to help expand their minds. I develop day by day activity plans while establishing child routines and offer constructive but not restrictive guidance. It is also important to me to develop numerical activities that Read more establish math and literacy concepts to help their little minds grow! We take trips to the park and the pool in the hot summer months. I also prepare and dish up nutritious meals and snacks to keep their little engines going! When they get all tired out and need a rest I provide opportunities for sleep and rest time. As for the little ones who are not quite at that level of fun just yet, I like to work on their cognitive skills along with their communication and motor skills. I feel that its a privileged to be able to watch and nurture your children as if they are my own. I plan and apply activities to meet the emotional, bodily, intellectual and social needs of the children in Little Angel's Daycare. I help build children's self respect and I keep parents informed regarding child development and ensure kiddos are supervised at all times. It would be a honor to care for your kiddos and be apart of the family!
