I am a mother of two grown daughters, one daughter studying Special Ed Teaching in Phoenix and the other living/working and going to college in California. I have raised my two daughters and recently took an early retirement from a major computer company in Tucson. My husband and I are empty nesters! I'm looking for part time work during the week as a sitter or nanny mainly because I love babies and children. I'm from a large family of 12 children and I have 25 plus years of babysitting and care for family, relatives and friends. I especially enjoy caring for newborn babies and providing for them the tender love and care they need and deserve. I enjoy spending time reading with children, doing activities or crafts and playing inside and outside with them. I'm trained in both CPR and First Aid and ready to handle an emergency situation if Read more needed. I'm willing to help with light house work and cooking if needed. I have lots of experience with children not only from being a Mom, Aunt and friend to others but also through my volunteer work. I have babysat for many children throughout my career. I taught Religious Education to 1st/2nd graders and I currently volunteer as a 5th grade tutor at a private school in Tucson. Because I volunteer with children, I've had a complete BACKGROUND check through the state of Arizona through the Diocese of Tucson volunteer program. I also donate time each week at a nonprofit pregnancy center helping women and their babies. I am patient, caring, and nurturing and would treat your child/children as my own.
