Hello there! I have been babysitting since I was a teenager and have been a nanny and a caregiver over the past few years. I have helped a couple of professors from U.C. Berkeley as a mom's helper part time. Both had new infants when I started. When the babies were old enough, they went into a nanny share program. Since then, I have worked for an elderly lady for almost three years. Just over a year ago, I was let go because she no longer had backups for me when I was gone and needed to go through an agency. It was really hard for both of us because we have become like family. We remain and will continue to be good friends. I have been working independently for a while now and I really enjoy it. Just over three years ago, I became a nanny to a sweet Read more Vietnamese family with three kids. When I started, the baby was about a month and a half old, the middle child was almost 3 and the oldest child was 5. I was mainly hired to help with the new baby. Since then, we have established quite a bond, especially with the baby. She is three years old now and is so much fun to hang out with! She melts my heart when she says my name and when her mom tells her I'm coming to get her, she gets so excited and can't wait to go! I was working full time until May of last year, when mom was comfortable handling three kids on her own. I go play with Summer once a week and sometimes more when her mom asks me. I have also watched her friend's two kids a few times when she needs me. She has a younger baby as well. I absolutely love them! I do have my own car and a good car seat. My skills are and not limited to light cleaning, laundry, cooking meals, bath time, Dr. appointments, distributing medications, shopping and outings for pleasure and groceries, play time, walks, reading, feeding, swimming, changing diapers, CPR & First Aid, companion care, etc. I have also done pet care for both dogs and cats. We also have a sweet Calico kitty named Charlie that we rescued just over 2 years ago from an R.V. park in Oregon. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to speaking with you!
