I started volunteering for the YMCA as a counselor in training in the. Summer . Volunteered every summer till I graduated high school . I. Worked as an after school teacher for about 3 years . I loved working for the YMCA . At. The age of 26 decided to get married had two children of my own. A son who is 17 and a daughter who just turn 10 years old. I also worked as a parent coordinator 3 years at Griffith middle school and 1 year at 4th street elementary. I also attended a private college last year to learn more about the child care industry . I am certified in first. Aid and CPR . Do arts and crafts and like to read. I believe that children who read become better students in every way if you teach them the importance of it at an early age. Took 5 years of French language understand more than speak could write some . I enjoy working and helping children I volunteer at my church in our kids dept. we take care of the children while their parents attend the service. Love the outdoors , enjoy swimming and cooking . Do not like too much greasy , salty or junk food , candy and chocolate are not my weaknesses desserts are. My education as I mentioned before is not that of a university graduate I have 60+ College units including psychology and child dev units. I am friendly and enthusiastic.
