Hello everyone, Firstly thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about my experience. I have been a babysitter for 6 years and a nanny for the past three years. In regards to my babysitting/nanny experience I started off watching family friends children and then moved on with referrals and branching out on my own. I have cared for children ranging from infants to 14 years old and absolutely love what I do. While away for school in Arizona I worked for an agency called College Nannies and Tutors that found me families on call that needed back up care or regular care. This job was great because I always got to work with lots of children and it really expanded my knowledge on child devleopment due to being able to work with different age children often. I currently work part time for a family, but am Read more looking to pick up some extra hours or a regular gig for a great family. I am capable of doing bath time, bed time/nap time, overnight care, occasional care, light housecleaning, caring for your dogs as well, cooking/meal prep, interactive indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, etc.. Really I'm open to doing whatever the family feels fit! I have even ran my own small summer camp with 6 children, so I've got lots of activities I can do with all ages of children! I really just enjoy my job and have since I started. I enjoy it so much so that I am studying pre physician assistant studies in college so that I can specialize in pediatrics as a PA in just a short few years. Working with children and families brings me such joy, so I hope to continue this in my career. A fun fact is that I have my own daughter who is just 2 1/2 months old so my infant knowledge is even greater now. We love babywearing, hiking, and fun outdoor activities.
