I am a fun mom of two (daughter 3 and son 6 - kindergarten). We live in Lake of the Pines in Auburn. I have experience as an infant daycare teacher as well as nanny experience. I also was a Site Coordinator for SMART kids in Sacramento which was an after school program designed to help elementary students with reading difficulties. It was in partnership with American River college students. I trained and coached them on working with children and developing lesson plans. I have college experience with many units towards a Liberal Studies degree. I also volunteer one day, each week in the kindergarten classroom. I absolutely love children and making a positive impact in their lives. I am patient, kind, understanding, funny and I believe that each child is unique. I love arts and crafts, reading, decorating baked goods, playing outdoors, sports and being creative to keep everyone Read more engaged. My hope is to the find the right family that I can help by caring for their children in my home or theirs (or a bit of both). I would have my daughter with me and then my son during holidays when school is closed, including summer days. Ideally a family that is open to outings and field trips as we love to get out and about and keep busy (zoo, library, parks etc.). Additional info: I was an Office Manager for an Engineering firm for 8 years and following that was the Head Manager for a busy Restaurant/ Bakery. I currently work (evenings) as a Field Training Associate for a merchandising company out of S.F. I coach/train merchandisers across the country to ensure big brand standards are being met (Hurley, Adidas, Reebok, The North Face etc.) I can provide several references including personal as well as professional.
