Greetings, I studied abroad then returned to live in Germany. While there, for three-and-a-half years l was one of the English language teachers at a Montessori method kindergarten. I taught language across all curriculum areas using engaging fun activities. My students were from many different countries and cultures. My love for teaching and being around children started from a young age while observing my mother teach Kindergarten and Pre-K. After receiving my bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Classical Studies I realized I would rather teach elementary-age students. I have taught children from aged ten months old to seven years old. While teaching I have done some babysitting on the side. When working with children, I incorporate songs and lots of interactive child-play. I enjoy taking kids on trips to the park, the library, the zoo, museums and other kid-friendly areas. I have a upbeat personality and I Read more am very patient with children. At home I like to do activities like crafts, reading, exercise, running, walks in nature, singing and dancing. Right now I am trying to find a job doing what I love to do while studying to become accepted into a Master Degree program in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education. I hope to find a few families where I can babysit regularly while completing this goal.
