Hello all! So first of all I wanna take some time to tell you a little about my self, and what makes me so different from everyone else. First off... my name is Lauren, and of course I love children. I graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Art, Art History and Visual Culture. I am currently working a full time job at Barracuda Networks as a receptionist. I previously have worked at summer camps, after school programs, and enrichment programs for children grades k-8th in a classroom setting and in a summer camp setting. I have experience facilitating groups of 20-25 children on my own, organizing games + activities, helping children with homework, and teaching children in the enrichment programs. I have also worked also for NJB officiating youth basketball games grades 2nd-8th grade, and help kids work on leadership skills. I'm very lucky because I was able to be a big part of their lives while living with my family at the time, for school. Being the oldest out of four siblings I have learned so much about children, and it's one of the biggest things I am grateful for is being able to have seen them constantly grow and be apart of their lives. I have personal experience watching children from being an infant through elementary school age. I have three sisters and one brother. My sister closest to my age is a year and a half younger than me, and then my two other sisters are much younger, ages 8 and 6 years old...and my little brother who is now 13 years old. Having four siblings is a big part of my life, and I have always tried to impact them in as many ways I can and help out as much as I can.
