For the past 20 years I have worked as a professional Nanny in San Diego, California. Along with my Nanny experience, I have experience as a House Manager and Personal Assistant. I take initiative to ensure the smooth running of the entire family unit and strive to stay in tune with the concerns of both parents in order to attain a sound environment. I have extensive experience with newborn-toddler age children, as well as caring for multiple children at a time. Andrea saved me on a short two day notice need for a sitter! She supplied good references, was honest, courteous and prompt. I was a bit nervous to meet face to face only the day of the job, but Andrea immediately put my mind at ease! My daughter took to her at once. Andrea was great playing with her pointing out shapes and colors, very interactive. Within a few minutes I felt not only that my daughter would be safe but that she would have a great day with someone who would help her learn and explore. I returned hours later to a daughter who was smiling ear to ear and who waved goodbye at the door chattering out at Andrea as she left. I will definitely be using Andrea again and am glad to recommend her.

Being first time parents, we were very nervous about finding the right person to care for our daughter and had been unable to find someone we fully trusted and were comfortable leaving her with. We met Andrea in April 2010 when Katelynn was ~7 months old. Andrea has been the very best addition to our family and such a gift to Katelynn. Andrea is extremely responsible, trustworthy, reliable, loving, patient, flexible, and knowledgeable about children of all ages. Her healthy and active lifestyle is a plus! Andrea is always coming up with ideas to teach Katelynn new things, and we have learned so much from her! She is a natural with children, and with parents. She always knows what we need, often before we do! She not only attends to our child’s needs, she attends to the needs of our family as a whole unit. We are so at ease when Andrea is with us which we have found to be a very rare trait. Our daughter took to Andrea immediately, and lights up when she comes over. In addition to taking care of our daughter on a regular basis, Andrea has been the first house sitter that we have had that we found we could fully trust to take care of our dogs, cats, and home while we were out of town. We just can’t say enough good things about her! We look forward to a long relationship with Andrea for years to come and can confidently state that any family is making the very best choice for their child(ren) by contacting and hiring Andrea.
