I have worked in child care for over 10 years. I enjoy working with children and educating them. In the past, I have worked as a pre school teacher, nanny, tutor, developmental aid, and daycare assistant. 9 years ago I began to study Montessori education,I received a teacher training certificate and 24 early childhood education units. From there I studied psychology and earned a BS in psychology. I am currently working on a masters in social work. The program is all online, which leaves me free to be flexible and able to make myself available to families whenever they need me. I have been CPR/First Aid cert in adults infants and children. I have a valid CA DL, insurance and a newer safe car. I have also been finger printed through livescan. I have just opened a home daycare in Castaic, licensed for up to 8 children.
