Since the time I can remember, I have always been around children. My mom ran a daycare in our home when I was 3 years old until I was age 18. As I got older, I started to assist my mom in the daily operations of her daycare. I am comfortable being around many children at one time and duties such as feedings, diapering, homework, play time, and bed times. At age 12, I started babysitting on my own where I cared for a family with twin toddlers and a school age child. At age 14, I provided care to a family with an infant and two toddlers. I am comfortable being around infants. I am very nurturing. I now have a son myself who is almost 3 and he is such a joy. I find being around children to be fun and rewarding. I'm a college student majoring in Early Childhood Education and I hope to one day run my own daycare. I'm open to watching kids in my home as well!
