I have raised 3 children who have all become caring, active, professionals. I have 6 granddaughters ranging in ages from 1 to 14 and am very involved in their lives. I worked as a live in nanny for 10 years in San Francisco Presidio Heights. The daughter was 8 and the son was 15 when I began. The single mom was at home full time and very socially connected. My duties included primary care for the daughter as well as driving the family, cooking meals, light housekeeping, shopping, doing a myriad of errands and caring for the dog There were 3 other full time staff members and several household services used to maintain the home. Prior to that, I worked for a family with an at home mother and two children-a boy 8 and a girl 5. I attended the culinary arts program at Diablo Valley College and have had a variety of experiences as my former spouse was a career Army officer for 22 years. I have decided to apply for a nanny/family assistant position rather than go back to school at this time.
