Hi there, My name is Lauren and I am an experienced nanny, baby sitter, and assistant to childcare helpers. I have lived in the Bay Area for over 10 years, and traveled abroad to visit family and work. I am a US resident originally from the UK. I am down to earth, creative, artist, fun, and enjoy being around family and friends. I am very reliable, i have transportation, and live in the Lake County area. I have relevant childcare experience and love kids. I am expecting a little bundle of joy in February, so a childcare job would be great for the time being, and possibly after. I volunteered at a daycare in Oakland back in 2006, during the summer. I did face painting on a regular basis, baked with the kids, and helped with playtime activities. I have babysat from time to time, including help raise my 5 Read more year old sister from birth to around 3-4 years of age. I was an Au Pair for 6-7 months in Denmark, it was a work abroad experience that i enjoyed very much. I helped the family with 3 kids from ages 2 - 8 years. I was a live-in nanny, and would attend Danish language classes to help interact and talk easier with the children. I cooked daily, cleaned the house on a regular basis, and did art with the children after homework activities. They were a wonderful family to work for and I am very glad to have had the experience there. I am currently looking for a great daycare position as my current job would be too much for me to handle through pregnancy, and would also love to work in a daycare with my child there too. Thanks.
