My name is Irene Birch and I have recently moved to the bay area from Albuquerque New Mexico. I am CPR certified in the state of NM and plan to renew my certification here as soon as possible. At my last residence I worked with children for a solid three years. I was a daycare worker at Paradise Hills United Methodist Church during this time and worked with children from as young as four months to as old as thirteen years. At PHUMC I participated in events like Vacation Bible School, where I had a thirteen kid class to keep charge of, church anniversaries, where another daycare provider and myself were in charge of entertaining around twenty kids of various ages at one time, and of taking care of smaller children during the Sunday services. I was fortunate enough to become a part time nanny for some of the families as well during parts of the year, particularly summer. I have babysat for families ranging from one to four children and have watched as many as five when two or more families would like to have an outing together. I am extremely capable of multitasking and have always lived up to the expectations of the families I work for. I am a very patient, caring, and responsible individual especially when it comes to the families I work for. I take my job very seriously, and although I was saddened to leave my families behind in New Mexico, I am eager to find a new family here in California.
