While in College studying to become an elementary school teacher, I worked at the Isabel Patterson Child Development Center in Long Beach as a pre-school teacher for two years. During my summers in San Diego, I was a nanny for two separate families (age 2 and age 3). After college, I pursued a career in the non-profit sector for nearly 7 years. I've decided to change career paths and ultimately pursue my longtime goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I am very excited to start SDSU's multiple subject credential program in Fall 2019! I am looking for an occasional babysitting role as I will be a full-time teacher and student for the fall and spring semesters. The program is unpaid, so I am looking for occasional work as my time permits. I will mostly have availability in the late afternoons/evenings and on weekends.
