I can't believe it's been 26 years of caring for children! I started off working at Cookieland Preschool in Ontario, CA when I was 18 years old. I loved working with 2-3 year olds. After about a year, my family moved to Rancho Cucamonga so I took a position working in the infant room at a nearby daycare center. I really loved this job! I love babies and toddlers. This is where I meet Noah. Noah was a rambunctious 3 year old. He had great energy and was very intelligent. His mother was expecting twin girls and was looking for someone to be their nanny. I was so excited for the opportunity to have two new babies and a 3 year old. I really loved those kids, During the 5 years I was with them I treated and loved them as my own. I got married and started my own Read more family and my daughter, Kelsey, went with me to their house every day. She never experienced being an only child. Unfortunately, the twins were diagnosed with autism around 3 years old. I knew something wasn't "right" around 18 months but there wasn't much out there at the time on autism. When the girls started kindergarden, my hours were going to be cut back so I decided to open my home daycare. I had my second child during this time and was pregnant with my third when my husband got a promotion at work that required us to move to San Ramon, CA. Four more moves and our fourth child later, when ended up in Coto de Caza. We have lived here now for 7 years and I can't imagine a better place. Now that my kids are 13, 17, 19, & 22, I'm ready to take on some "young ones" again! I can't wait!
