Hi! I am the mom of two delightful children who are all grown up now. I'm preparing to send my youngest off to college in a few weeks and will become an empty-nester. At this very interesting time of my life, I am excited to be making a career change as well! I am so looking forward to leaving the office behind doing what I love best - taking care of and spending time with children. Before I had my own kids, I was a preschool teacher and worked with infants through age 5. I've taken Early Childhood Development courses and have a particular interest in literacy development. I believe in Developmentally Appropriate Practice and love to provide a fun and engaging environment for children. After having my own children, I was a stay at home mom and provided childcare for another family to supplement our income.
