Hi Families! After taking three months off to have a baby boy in March, I'm back! And after having to find my own childcare I've come to great realization how hard it is to find a great babysitter and leave your children/child with them, so if you choose me to sit for you I'll make great efforts in making it a easy transition for both you and your children. I'm pretty busy with a newborn and being in school full time but I'm available for occasional bookings. Please reach out if you need a sitter and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs. I will be looking for a part time/full time job during the summer months, so if you're in need of a summer nanny and I sound like a good fit, please reach out. A little about myself; I'm a full time student studying psychology and will Read more be receiving my BA June 2016. I enjoy traveling, being outside, reading a good book, and watching my favorite TV shows, and now with a baby I value my little "me" time of doing nothing. I also love Pinterest and get plenty arts and crafts ideas, baking experiments, and a lot of unique activities from there to do while babysitting. I am extremely patient and attentive; your children will be in excellent hands. I have also helped families with sleep training and potty training, so if your child is in the process of these milestones Im more than willing to help while your child is in my care. My Experience: I have 5 plus years experience babysitting as a part time nanny, after school sitter, temporary fill-in/back up nanny, and as a occasional sitter; age ranging from newborn to pre-teens From 2011-2013 I was a part time nanny for a family with five children under the age of five; including two sets of twins. I was with them for a year and gained a huge range of experience dealing with multiples infants, and juggling every child's needs and safety at one time. While working for them I was also working as a respite provider for United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County which is a company that provides child care for special needs children (autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, vision/seeing impairments). My responsibilities were transporting to/from school/activities, helping with toileting or bathing, cooking meals and helping to feed, bedtime routines, homework help, and helping with their social skills. I have a background check and references upon request. And I'd be happy to answer any questions.
