Hello! My husband and I moved from the East Bay to the Sacramento area in 2018. I have 16+ years experience working with children in a variety of professional settings. I have a Bachelor's degree in early childhood development and am CPR/first aid certified. I am fully vaccinated. I have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record. As a nanny, I have cared for newborns up to middle school age. Among many others, I once nannied for a family with five kids under the age of 5 (5yo, 3yo, and newborn triplets!) I also Nannied for a family with two sets of twins ages 5 and 1. I have experience driving kids to school and activities. The kids always come first but I am open to housework and cooking (in addition to that which the kids require) as time allows. I love being a nanny because of the relationships Read more I build with the families I work for. Many of the families I nannied for feel like family even years after my position with them has ended. In addition to my nanny experience, I have also spent many years as a preschool teacher. My priority as a teacher is to build great relationships with the children in order to listen best to their needs and interests to create a child-led, loving, environment for them to grow and learn. Teaching has been a joy. I have worked with children with disabilities both as a nanny and in an inclusive preschool. I taught social skills classes to school age children on the Autism Spectrum. In 2012 I lived/worked in Haiti at a children’s home fostering newborn twins and homeschooling 5 school aged children. In 2016 I created a non profit that has provided school scholarships to over 50 Haitian children each year. I have a sweet and flexible almost three-year-old daughter and a giggly and social six month old son who comes to work with me. They love new friends!. Please contact me if you think I might be a good fit for your family!
