I have never worked as a full-time nanny, but I know the job would suite me because I love spending time with kids. I have experience working as a camp counselor at an overnight camp in Julian for 3 summers. Since it was a residential camp, I would spend an entire week acting as the primary caregiver for campers ranging from 6-17 years old. I've learned how to be creative and have fun with limited resources. The camp was very kid-centered and we planned our activities around what they wanted to do for the week, while also meeting program goals. We crafted, learned about nature, played games, and tried to achieve what we thought would be impossible at camp. In my personal life I enjoy reading, writing, and hiking. I love exploring new places and learning new things. I graduated last spring from Portland State University with a bachelor's degree.
