Hi, my name is Claire and I currently attend San Diego State University. I have a huge passion for kids and education! I like engaging children in activities, games, outdoors, or reading and helping them learn and grow! I have experience with newborns/infants, multiples, bedtime, and feeding/meal prep. My experience includes volunteering monthly at a rehabilitation home for women throughout high school where I mentored and babysat kids ages newborn-9. I also worked at the Clubs, where I worked with kids ages 5-12. Since September 2017, I have been a Youth Lead at one of SAY San Diego licensed after school program sites. I work with children in grades K-5; I am the current 2nd grade leader and have been with the group since they were in 1st grade the year before. Along with this, I have gone through multiple supervision trainings, trauma-informed care training, and behavior management trainings. I Read more am also CPR/first aid certified.
