I am the oldest of 5 children and come form a HUGE family. I have always had a mothering personality since I was a child, helping my own mom with my brothers and sisters. I started off baby sitting at a young age. I nannied for a family that had a new born and 1 year old for about 2 years. I would come over to their home and spend three days and two nights, giving her a couple good nights of sleep and the ability to run some errands/have some time for mommy. I have since worked in health care and sales for the last several years. During that time I was also the go-to-babysitter for my cousins and friends when they needed someone to watch their kids for a night/or week long out of town trips. Our time together was full of outdoor activities, art projects, reading books Read more and using our imagination to go on adventures. I have recently moved out to the California and miss being around all the little ones in my family. (Back in Naperville, IL I have about 27 cousins and 8 of them have 4-5 kids ages ranging from a couple weeks to 14, and I do miss spending time with all of them. Thats one of the many reasons why I am looking to be a nanny) I do have three little nephews from my husbands side out here in California that have grow very fond of me that I love to spending time with and babysit whenever grandma isn't babysitting. I currently live in El Dorado Hills with my husband, Ben and our mini bull terrier Knomi. I have alot of great experience with kids and a nature knack for caring for them. I am a very fun loving person who is looking forward to helping you feel confidant that your baby is in good hands. I have kept my CPR and First Aid certifications up to date. I feel it is important to have this knowledge when working with children, as it can save their lives.
