Hello beautiful family’s, My name is Karah and I am a 39 year old with 25+ years experience in childcare and a degree in Early Childhood Education (Specializing in Child and Family Services). Ever since I was about 9 years old I knew I wanted to be around and take care of children through my own personal play with friends and family and by being my older sisters assistant while she was the babysitter. So, at the tender age of 10, I started my very own Babysitters Club by making business cards with the cardboard I’d find lying around my house and got started. I was successful in my neighborhood with friends of our family and then 3 weeks before my 12th birthday my baby sister was born and the infant experience I earned while helping my family care for her forged my early child path. I worked with children Read more and family's all throughout high school as well. During my college years, I was fortunate enough to continue my early childhood path and while taking related classes for my degree I was able to work with various age groups through my University and our Internship Program. I have been a lead teacher in infant/toddler/pre-k rooms, an assistant and lead camp counselor for first and second graders, helped with a k-8th school monitoring their after school program, sleep trained infants/toddlers, worked on a mission trip in Africa to help teach disadvantaged orphans in their communities, babysat and nannied for a multitude of family’s with infants, toddlers, pre-school and school aged children and have reframed family’s home life to better their time management and communication between each member in the household to run a smoother ship. I would love to speak more with you about our possibility to work with each other and to help your family move respectfully and positively into the future. I can supply my resume and references once we have met in person and feel we are a good match for each other. I also have a few letters of recommendation to share and am CPR/First Aid Certified. Thank you for your time, I hope to chat soon! Best, Karah 🫶🏼

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
