I am 19 years old and have always enjoyed volunteering and service projects as well as working with children. I am a high school graduate with some college experience hoping to find a job that will allow me to not only pursue my passions but also be a blessing to a family in need of a responsible caretaker for their children. I currently live in Elk Grove, California, a suburb about 15 minutes out side of Sacramento, but I would love to live in New York City or a surrounding area and am willing to relocate and/or travel. I am an auntie to a 4 year old girl and a 3 year old boy and I have learned to take care of young children at every stage as they have grown. I also have experience with older children through the many families I have babysat for on a regular basis Read more over the past 5 years. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I have spent multiple weeks over the course of the last four summers as a one on one counselor at a camp in Missouri designed for children with special needs called Camp Barnabas. I enjoy helping with homework and I have always loved math, science, and art. I love planning crafts and learning activities for children and have experience with knitting, crochetting, ceramics, and paper crafting. I am passionate about both photography and graphic design and I am a fast learner and I am always open to learning new thing. I have been involved in music, specifically choir, since I was 5 years old and even had the opportunity to travel and perform in South Africa with my Collegiate level Women's Choir. Thank you for your time, I would love it if you would consider me to become a part of your family.
