I am a 24-year-old female. I have experience working with children of all ages. The majority of my work has been with children ages zero to five. I have always had a strong passion for children. I started babysitting around the age of 12 and have been working professionally as a nanny for about six years. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in June 2012. While attending college, I worked part time as a nanny for an amazing family with two children ages one and three. I worked for them for about three years until I graduated. After graduation I spent the summer in Denver caring for three children ages five, two and a half, and eight months. I then made the decision to relocate back to the San Diego area, since this is where I was raised. Unfortunately, come the end of August my job with this family will come to an end. The eldest will be attending kindergarten full time and the youngest will start preschool. I am very sad to leave them, but I am excited to find another great family to work with. I cannot ever picture having a job that doesn’t involve children. Children are truly my passion. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages. I believe that children are the future and they deserve to be taken seriously. I like to engage with kids directly in various activities including arts and crafts, swimming, reading stories, playing sports, or pretty much any other outdoor activity.
