I love people and have a desire to pour into and love on the youth. Last year my husband and I were located in Orange County California temporary for his job and I became a nanny for three amazing children. They were seven, twelve, and thirteen. I became really close to the entire family and it was heartbreaking for me to leave them when we moved back to Portland. Before that, I was a high school leader for three years at our church. I mentored teens, spoke occasionally, organized events, and lead mission trips to the country of Haiti. During that time, I was also a high school cheer coach, starting as the JV assistant coach and working my way up to the program director. With that I have ran many little kiddos camps where kids from the ages of 3-13 come and learn a routine and hang out with Read more the girls. As I was also a cheerleader for 11 years, I did many of those kid camps myself. From coaching I have many first aid certifications; including concussion, shock, hypothermia, CPR, and treatment for multiple injuries. Last year I did my first season as a minis cheer coach, the children range in age from 3-8. I really enjoyed it and can say that's when I fell in love with that age! I am also extremely clean and like to keep things organized. My stress relief is cleaning the house! I love crafting and getting creative- there's no such thing as too much glitter! I miss spending time with children and am excited to work and become part of another family's life again!
