  • Comfortable with pets

Hi my name is Amber. I am CPR and First Aid certified and I have 36 units in Early Childhood Studies working towards my AA. I have five years of paid Nanny experience and my previous landlord had twin girls, so I have experience caring for multiples as well. I've worked in a childcare setting in a preschool for the past 3 years but am looking to become a nanny again so I can give the children in my care more one on one attention. I believe in giving young children the freedom to learn and grow by making their own choices; that children can learn everything they need to know through play. I enjoy planning activities based off of the children's interests, going to the park/outside play & planning art activities. I also enjoy reading to the children in my care to encourage their literacy skills, and I love Read more to do many hand on, open ended activities that encourage them to explore the world around them.
