My mother owned a family child care for 15 years. I have helped care for children related to me (nephew’s & niece’s) since I can remember. The most important qualification is my own autistic son. He has come a long way from severe autism/intelectual disability/ non verbal; to going into 5th grade in a mild moderate class. His strengths are reading and math! I am a mother, advocate, educator, mentor, model and follow current recommendations for everything (I love to research and learn). My life in a nutshell is to maintain a balance among all 8 wellness demensions for my son, my family and anyone I can help.
