My name is Catherine Clasby. I am 28 years old and am a veteran nanny turned teacher. I have my bachelors in Social Work. I moved from St. Louis to LA to serve a year with AmeriCorps, then was a nanny for 2.5 years for the same family (great references). This year, I got a job with Teach for America and had to relocate to St. Louis where I teach elementary school and am taking masters classes in elementary education. My boyfriend and his 4 year old daughter live in Fullerton. I will be moving there, June 20. I have been babysitting/nannying, ever since I was little, as I have 4 younger brothers. I have worked with nearly every age, type, and combination of children at a time. I have experience in the classroom-preschool, kindergarten, and elementary. I have worked at a before and after school care and have nannied. Read more I was a college cheerleader and played college rugby. I can give you more information upon request. So, let me know if you have any other questions. I can provide numerous references as well. Extra notes: I am very active and love playing outside. I would love to do some supplemental learning with your child to keep them ready for school in the fall. Also, in the perfect world, at times, I would be able to bring along my 4-turning 5 year old step baby girl. She is smart, adorable and loves playing with friends. Daddy works 9-5 in Burbank and her mom isn't the most reliable person. That's totally up to you, though!
