I am a recently retired teacher, and I miss the kids!! My last years were with 3rd and 4th graders but I have had experience with preschool through high school. I LOVE to read aloud which I did everyday when I was teaching. It would be my pleasure to help you develop and encourage a love of books and reading. I would also love to care for your infant. I raised two children and adored the the newborn and infant stages. My interests include arts and crafts, animals, gardens and volunteer work. I have volunteered at the Goleta Library, Habitat for Humanity, the Wildlife Care Network and School on Wheels (tutoring homeless children). I am interested in part-time employment (partly due to a volunteer job) Or perhaps I could be called on to sub for your caregiver.. I would love to discuss your child's needs and your ideas for childcare.
