Meet Rachel

  • Comfortable with pets
  • Has a car

I come from a large family, and as second oldest, I helped out a lot with taking care of my younger siblings. I also babysat for a number of families, and began teaching Sunday school and children choir in my local church since I was 14 until I went to college in South Carolina! Even while in college I had the opportunity to volunteer at a Special Needs Olympics, tutor at an after-school program, as well as study Elementary Education for a semester. I enjoy learning, and I really love encouraging children to learn more about the things they think are really interesting! If hired, I will do everything I can to ensure your children will have only the best care and attention provided. I have no certifications, but will gladly obtain one if needed.

Report

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
