I love being a nanny because of the pure joy of helping children find themselves, being part of the process of raising a child, enjoying the simple fun of play and thoroughly loving when a child laughs out loud. As a nanny, I know the things done today have a lasting effect and our work is extremely important. However, what makes being a nanny so unique is that one can interact with the whole family, which to me, has a deep and meaningful impact on the children, the family and myself. After caring for all age ranges from infants to teenagers, there isn't an age I prefer as all children are unique and fun in every way and teach me something each and every day. Living in West Hollywood, CA and having been a professional nanny since 2010, I have been caring for children (and adults) for as long as Read more I can remember, and for me, the best part about my career is that I am still friendly and close with all the previous families I’ve been fortunate to work with. With a really strong work ethic, can-do attitude and being self-motivated, there is no job is too big or too small. I go above and beyond what’s asked and anticipate the needs of every member of the household including extended family and pets. Currently seeking a new local family in need of part-time assistance. In my most recent position, I have been working as a Household Manager/Nanny and unfortunately, the family’s needs have changed. We are all so sad about this but understand this is part of the industry (and life). I am now actively seeking a family who is in need of part-time help roughly 20 - 25 hours per week. I am able to make at least a one-year commitment and hope to find a local family.
