I have over 20 years experience as a Nanny/babysitter. My "expertise" is in caring for infants...straight from birth! I truly enjoy watching each step and progression from infant to toddler. I completely engage the child and do not use the television as a babysitter. From day one there is story time so I hope you have a ton of books...there are daily walks...hopefully to a nearby park...or just around the neighborhood. If there is a nearby library...that would be great. I do not spend hours talking on the phone or texting..my attention is always on the baby. I enjoy doing laundry and don't mind keeping the house tidy. I'm not a gourmet cook but I do ok in the kitchen...just in case you need me to start dinner. I'm very flexible if you have those unexpected late nights at work, or if you'd like an occasional date night. Oh...I don't have a great voice but I love singing to the baby...the usual baby lullaby's and I make up songs of my own. I can be a good nurse if needed, been through many teethings, gassy tummys and little stuffy noses, and I've kissed a lot of boo boos. I can get down on the floor and play...I've been to many "tea parties" and have drank a lot of imaginary tea! I've become quite good with Legos and don't mind tossing a ball around.
