I was raised in Sacramento, CA and about 6 years ago I made the move to Huntington Beach with my fiance Jason. He builds hot rods for a living and what better place to build hot rods then SoCal?! We decided to start a family about four years ago and were blessed with our son ,Ace, who is now three years old. We are a very busy family with a lot of hobbies that keep us on our toes and on the go. I am the Board Secretary of the oldest land speed race club, the Gear Grinders. We are in the process of building a streamliner race car for my fiance to drive but it's a very long and expensive process so we mainly volunteer our assistance to our fellow club members or other clubs in need. A lot of my spare time is spent on the dry lake Read more bed watching racers beat records, and at car shows supporting my fiance but if I'm not there you can find me making plans with friends and family, taking trips to visit family and friends in Havasu, Texas or Sacramento, spending time at the beach with our two pups, shopping or just kicking back and relaxing with my boys. I first started out as a babysitter for the babies and toddlers on my block right out of Jr. High and from there I started volunteering at my church's Vacation Bible School and Sunday school through my first few years of high school. During my Senior year in High School I took a Child Development/Education class and did ROP at a nearby private elementary school, where they offered me a part-time position as an after-school teacher. There I was responsible for 20 children. After graduating high school I needed full time work and moved on to become a secretary for a local meat company. It was there I realized that I was happiest and most fulfilled working with children. My boss brought his four year old daughter in daily and I began taking her to the park to play, bringing in fun snacks, and doing little art projects while she was with me. Fast forward a couple years and boom, I became a full time nanny to my first family and discovered that I had truly found my calling. I have worked as a full time nanny to three families over the last 10 years (1yr, 3yrs, and 6yrs). I pride myself on the bonds and relationships I still have with all the families I have babysat and nannied for.
