I was raised in a loving home with both a mother and father and went to private Christian schools up until my college years. I am now a college graduate with an Associate of Arts degree in Visual Communications from FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Upon graduation in June of 2011, I worked for a wedding venue in my hometown of Temecula Wine Country, located in Southern California. While I have a true passion for the arts and love learning about new places and their culture, I also absolutely adore caring for children and have from a very young age. I have 10+ years experience caring for infants, toddlers and young children from ages 0-8. But I have the most confidence in caring for infants and toddlers. My philosophy in caring for others' children is to love them as your own. I began nannying for my first Read more family of two boys, ages 2 and 4, in May of 2012 and I can honestly say nothing has brought me more pure joy. I believe children should enjoy as much of life as possible, even at a young age. My first family lived on a farm which always brought new adventures. We would swim, go to the beach, attend play dates, take walks, draw, paint, read books, play (a lot), bake, and care for the animals. Both boys required a special diet as they had severe food allergies to gluten and dairy so I am very familiar with having to prepare special meals. Most of our days were spent outside running, playing hide and seek, blowing bubbles, swimming or just laughing with each other. While I am sad that my time with them is over, I am looking forward to my next family and new adventure. I believe raising a child is the most precious and fulfilling job one can have in life and I hope to have a family of my own one day.
